Why in the @&$) can't the FCC and telephone companies do anything about these bottom sucking scammers that take advantage of people who don't know better. The technology has to be there. The same phone numbers are used over and over again, including this one.
I received a call from 415-384-1493 - recorded voice. Tell me that the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me and that I must call their main number back asap - certainly a scam! The IRS does not contact you by phone, they contact you by mail. I read about this SCAM the other day and wish that we could block them.
