Did anyone get this call after contacting Direct TV? My boyfriend and I have both been spammed by California numbers, this number and another, after contacting Direct TV about new services. Just trying to see if there is a link.
I got a call from this number (415-422-9520) and another telemarketer (323-395-5414) less than 24 hours after signing up with DirecTV (using THIS DirecTV Sales line 855-833-4388)- I KNOW it was DirecTV who sold my number to the telemarketers because it was a brand-new number, DirecTV was the ONLY company I had called with the new number, and then DirecTV actually ADMITTED to having sold my number when I called in to complain. DirecTV uses sub-contractors to handle many of it's sales calls, and when you call a number associated with the sub-contractor (like the number I used - 855-833-4388), your info gets SOLD to telemarketers who ignore all DO-NOT-CALL requests. I'm happy I found out BEFORE my installation date, I managed to cancel the service before being charged. WHEW!!!

If you MUST have DirecTV, call their main 1-800 line, do not get suckered by a sub-contractor who will sell your phone number.

I got a call I live in Canada in BC you can only call until 9pm. We don't have direct TV here. "Opps" rather then pressing the talk button I pressed end instead. Opps
