Male with friendly voice phoned asking for my son. The same person had called a few days before, but left no message. I advised him this was not his phone number, and he does not live here. I was asked if I was his wife - I said 'no, his mother.' I asked that he remove "my" number from his database. He said he was calling from "London, England" and that he was a "friend" of my son's that had not seen him in a long time and was trying to reach him and "boy are you rude!" End of conversation. OBVIOUSLY not calling from London, England (area code is actually San Francisco, California), and with a number like that (ending on 00) it is likely a collection agent trying to play tricks.
Someone from this number is calling my work number and not leaving messages. Guess I will start dumping this call to my voicemail until they decide to leave a message.
Got a call from this number, English sounding gentleman following up a charge to a credit card. He thought I was a company charging someone on their credit card. He must work for a credit card company investigating suspicious charges.
