Call was frm someone who identified themselves as officer Johnson at one time an is now calling themselves Ronald Green, from the Federal Investigation Center. Person claims that a law suit is being filed against me and the I need to contact them at this number. I received calls from the same person months ago from a New York number. I've contact the Attorney General and local law enforcement regarding the call. They appear to be phishing for info. There is no such agency as the Federal Investigation Center. This person has a very strong accent.
I also recieved a call from this number. The person identifies themselves as Roger Smith from the Federal Investigation Dept. They are telling me there is going to federal charges brought against me if I do not send them some money. Hoping this would help. They also have a very strong accent.
I just recieved this call also, looks like they are making thier rounds again. First it called my cell phone and came up as some wierd like 5 digit number, I ignored it, then it called my other phone came up unkown I answered it same deal. Strong Accent I even yelled at him for not being able to speak English. He called himself Steve and I pretended I was someone else so I got all his info so i could "leave a message for me" and he gave me this number as a call back number.. The only thing I can figure I took out a payday loan at a time of dire desperation few months ago and they sold my contact info to every lunatic under the sun. Consumers be ware! Do NOT use these payday loan places they are a scam... And after they rape you with 500% interest or some insane fee they sell your info to all thier little friends.
the number that shows on my caller ID is 444-198. Says he is Adam Vice from Federal Investigation Center. They want me to send them $400 for a payday loan that I took out about a month ago. He gives me this number as a call back...415-449-8744. I did not do what he asked yesterday so I have 45 missed calls on my phone in less than an hour today. They finally left a message. The 2 people that I spoke to yesterday did not speak English and I could not understand them. But from what I got was they are going to issue a warrant for mu arrest now if I don't send them $500 (was $400) TODAY! I don't know if I should be worried or not!?!?!?
