Window Factory (located in Bay Area, maybe the SF area) has called us over the last few months (Jan-Feb/08 to date) about every two weeks. We have file complaint w FCC as we are on the Do Not Call Registry.
I get regular pushy sales calls from this number. They do not respect the Do Not Call list and were rude to boot. I told them I thought that they were in violation of the law to call people on the DNC list and the sales agent was rude and sarcastic, "You're on the DNC list, huh? How's that workin' out for ya?"
This San Rafael Window Factory has also made what I think are an abusive number of calls to my number. They show up over and over on my caller ID.
I was able to locate the company making these calls, and they described some aspects of their telemarketing program to me over the phone. They claimed to be exempt from the DNC registry because they were only trying to set up a sales appointment and not actually taking money over the phone. In a contradictory statement they also claimed that they had outsourced DNC screening to another company. They claimed to have a component of their autodialer which was supposed to do DNC screening. At the end of the call the manager I spoke to promised to try to change their policy related to managing Window Factory's call list and respecting the DNC list.

I spoke to two other "Window Factory" businesses in California which were both legitimate businesses and were not engaged in this telemarketing operation. The legit businesses were in San Diego and San Francisco.
