Got call from this # tonite at 6:45pm. Cid said unknown name. I didn't answer & they left no message. Judging from the dates on this page these ones have been around a long time.
I've been getting multiple calls daily from this and a couple other numbers for months now. I usually don't answer but when I do it's always an obvious scam and extremely amateur. I like to play along as long as possible and then call them out at the last minute. It wastes their time and REALLY pisses them off. I'm starting to think these [***] are raising money for Al Queda becaus they couldn't be any less convincing if they tried. The heavy accents...the ridiculous stories...the false names. The last guy said his name was Bob from the US government and that I had been selected to recieve some 8 or 9 thousand dollars for being a "good citizen"...they just needed to confirm my identity first. Guess how they wanted to do that?
This call comes 4x a day. I asked the person to stop calling, but they keep calling. I am on the DNC list. I should start a class action against this mofo.
