This is a scammer. His name is Max and he poses as a USCIS official and tries to collect credit card info. for phony payment to file immigration related paperwork. My husband got the call after filling out PDF form on the official uscis.gov website. Was able to block credit card and abort the transaction.
Calls me demand I renew my my green card and asked if I have credit card or debit card,I responded no !! Than he suggested I barrow fr. Family or friend I just laugh at him!!
called me within half an hour of filling out immigration form. I did not pick up, but he claimed to be from US immigration and gave his 'direct number' for me to call back. sad that some people may be taken in by such BS.
Scammer wanting my credit card details in order to "expedite" my application for citizenship. Didn't even get my name/address right, and when I said that I was just a few blocks from him and suggested I drop the paperwork by his office, he got upset :) Also, when I told him that my representative was a personal friend and that if I wanted it expedited, I had only to ask, he acted defensive. Don't be taken in.
