REC CALL FROM 4155469827...ITS A HEATER DUCT CLEANING SVC...THEY TOLD ME THEY DID AN INSPECTION ON MY HEATER...WHICH I NEVER HAD DONE..THEN SHE TRY TO SELL ME A DUCT CLEANING SVC.FOR 69 BUCKS..DID NOT ASK WHAT THE NAME OF COMPANY WAS
Same deal as other recent reports - when I pick up the phone, nobody is there, and eventually it hangs up. I suspect this is an old robo-call machine which has been abandoned but still wakes up and makes calls from time to time.
Called and asked for specific name. When I asked what it was regarding, they declined to state and said they would call back. When I pressed for the name of company they hung up. It was a robo call, but when I answered, it clicked over to a live male voice.
I've had a number of calls...sometimes I answer and no one is there. Today, I was greeted by a woman who asked for me by name. Without confirming that the name was correct, I asked "Who's this?" which brought an immediate hang-up. I called back via Google Voice (they can call there all they want and they won't get to me), but no one picked up.
Repeated calls from this number January 9, 17, February 4, 26), but no one answers if I pick up the phone, and they don't leave a message, either. If they have location info, maybe they want to see if anybody's home to do prep work for burglaries. Who knows? Very annoying, in any case.
