The comment is not blaming any president. There is a widespread variant of the credit reprice scam, usually delivered in a canned call by a schoolmarm voice, which claims the dubious offer "relates to the financial stimulus".
This # calls me all the time, ring twice then hangs up when I answer. Motive unknown. Likely a political pac. Pick your opposition hated party and address blame.
Oh what the hec, there are no good parties... blame 'em all.
receive calls...when I answer...after 2 rings...the caller(?) hangs up...when I re-dial I am informed this number is no longer in service?...will either block or ignore from now on. thank you for your info.
No one is blaming Obama. These scammers sometimes use his name, and it will pop up on your caller ID. They switch to different names, business names and numbers. They just called me five minutes ago.
Regular calls from this number since Dec 22nd. Today was only 3 rings and it takes 4 rings to get to my voicemail. I live in the 415 area code and when I call this number back the "I am sorry, this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service" operator message comes up. The number displays as "Out of Area" which is also wrong since I'm "In the Area". Now blocked.
