415 is the area code for San Francisco. Numbers begining w/ 555- are usually NOT real phone numbers. I re-dialed this number and it always takes me to "411" directory assistance.
I think Website Solutions is a big scam. They have the ability to have any number show up on your caller ID. They just called me 2 times - I was busy and didn't answer. The next call was from a LOCAL number in my area code, so I answered it. It was them.
Also, if you google 800-718-7161 (mentioned above, and their "office" number) you will see many business listings for that one number. This is their customer service number - if you dial it you get a machine.
I have received calls from the SAME CSR from 515-369-5805 (Iowa area code) and 208-621-2025 (Idaho area code). I don't believe he is working in both states on the same day. The CSR claims he is in New Jersey, but the accent/dialect reeks of call-center New Delhi.
They design & host overpriced websites and sell domain names. They want to design a website for you FREE and IF you like it you begin paying for it, if not you don’t have to. They say you have a month to evaluate it. The fine print says you only have a few days. There’s a catch somewhere, don’t get caught. They cannot take "no" for an answer and will call you relentlessly. I have been contacted by them more than 7 times this month and they will probably keep calling...... I personally spoke with someone there a few weeks ago. This week they called again and said they had spoken with "the owner" who wanted a website. They have not ever spoken with anyone other than me and I don't want one. They argued that they HAD spoken with someone else and insured me that my boss wanted me to go ahead and approve this 'sale'. The CSR keeps telling me to trust him. Their website, wlsol.com, has several page tabs that say "Coming Shortly". If they can't finish their own site, what will they do with yours?
UPDATE - this is a scam. DO NOT call this number to see who answers. Curiosity killed the cat, right? I just got my AT&T phone bill and they charged me $2.49. Now I'm starting to think this is a phone company scam.
After I received a call from 415-555-7777, I called the # back to see who/what company would answer. I was instantly connected to 411 directory assistance (I did not dial 411) which puts a charge on your phone bill.
What a bunch of crap!!!
