I did not receive a call from this number, but I was given this number by "John Harris" from Rhode Island to contact him from the dating site OK Cupid.
Hi Catherine. Just wondering if you know John Harris or if you have been talking to him a lot. I was in the process of renting a place from him that seemed a little too good to be true. He also told me he had a wife which then leads me to believe that it was all a scam and he's not who he says he is.
He is a scam artist! Do not trust this man as he will try to get money out of you any way he can. I found a nice place on Craigslist for rent and when I contacted him he said he moved to the states due to a job transfer. He expected me to fill out personal information through email and send him first months rent and deposit without even viewing the house! When I said I will not fill out any paper work or send any money until I view it, he immediately stopped replying. My friend contacted him and showed interest in the place and he wrote back the exact same email. What a loser. Get a job you effing creep!
He contacted me on OKCupid as well but his message was obviously written by someone who speaks English as a second language. Already was "scammed" by someone else on OKCupid, so I never responded to him.
Same as the above for the most part. I contacted him about a property for rent. Was exactly what I was looking for and received the email below. There we so many red flags and I never responded. He just texted me because the website I was using to respond to his ad requires you to include a phone number...

I personally own the property and also want you to know that it was due to our relocating with the family that made me and my wife to leave the property and also want to give it out for rent and looking for a responsible person that can take very good care of it as we are not after the money for the rent but want it to be clean at all times and the person that will rent it to take it as if it were its own. So for now, We are here in United state in our new house and also with the keys and documents of the house.We did not intend to give the property out for rent,but due to maintainance of the property my wife strongly advised we should give the place out for rent to a good and clean tenant and we are as well as don't want our property to be used any how in our absent that is why we took the keys and documents along with us so i hope you will promise us to take very good care of the house. kindly get back to me on how you could take care of our house or perhaps experience you have in renting homes. The rent fee is included with all the utilities . I am looking forward to hearing from you ASAP so the application form can be send to you and discuss on how to get the property for rent.
