I received a call from this number on 2/18/15, but I was not in my office to receive it. They did not leave a message. I only became suspicious because I also received 3 more calls that same day from another number with the same area code 415-322-1199, the first coming 15 minutes after I received the call to this number. No messages were left for any of the calls, so today, I finally answered a third number with the same area code 415-413-2311 and a woman with a heavy accent said she wanted to send me emails of articles that would be interesting to managers and directors at my university.

They are conducting a phony "technical service" scam.
DO NOT GO TO ANY WEBSITE or URL THEY DIRECT YOU TO!
DO NOT INSTALL ANY APPS or PROGRAMS THEY DIRECT YOU TO!
They are attempting to steal your emails, contact data, files, saved credit card info from your browser history, etc... VERY BAD STUFF!
No matter how urgent they sound, or whatever kind of BS they try to threaten you with, do not do what they request and/or demand of you.
