I got basically the same message from this number, except it added "...based on your request."  I am trying Zach's suggestion of texting stop to see if that works.

I do not want any contact as this number is trying to connect to my devices and I am concerned it is a an attempt to retrieve my personal information

I gave my number on a private message to a long lost friend on facebook, and now im getting the same text message as the first person said

So I got the same message at 4am. This morning,  and do not have that app either.   I was wondering though how u blocked that number and did it work for you?  Any info on how to block it what to do would be greatly appreciated. I have service thru T-Mobile, and the newest LG5 phone if it makeses a difference in blocking or what I need to do. Thanks ,
