Got the message too.. don't deal with that bank on any loans or for any reason at all.. also in colorado.. when I tried to return it, got the busy signal.. no bank would have a line that would be busy like that right after a text.. definately a scam..
I am also from Colorado & got the same text message about calling Compass Bank. When I called the number a message told me to press 1 to renew my debit card. Has to be a scam, I DO NOT OWN A DEBIT CARD. Sounds like they're targeting Colorado citizens (beware)!!!
I also got a text message and am also in Colorado. I do not respond to anyone I do not know. Besides you wont get a TEXT MESSAGE from a bank, saying to call them. You would get an email of why you need to contact or get a phone call.
