Fraud Alert: Our family is out $520. It was supposed to be a deposit for a rental property in Sarasota that turned out being a fraud. The person deceived a few of us with legitimate looking rental contract by a business name Chadd Jones Property. I'm treating this as a teaching opportuniy for our 9 year old and I'm at peace with it.
I'm exposing the person's phone number and email here. Not sure what that would do but it's something...

Phone numbers can be "spoofed" to appear as if they originated from the viewed (caller ID) number when they in fact are being sent from a hidden number.  I'd say to put it out there anyway, although sometimes the number belongs to someone who is also a victim of fraud, unfortunately.
