Received two calls yesterday, 2/10/15. One was 6:30 in the morning! I did not answer them. The voice mail said it was from 'Officer' Julie Smith of the IRS, and that I need to speak with them before they take legal action against me.
Received two calls yesterday, 2/10/15. One was 6:30 in the morning! I did not answer them. The voice mail said it was from 'Officer' Julie Smith of the IRS, and that I need to speak with them before they take legal action against me.
Same thing - a horribly automated recording saying "Do not ignore this call" and saying they have some offer before they take legal action against me. States to be from the office of Julie Smith with the IRS. So I called back, knowing this is a scam, and I got another recording "The Magic Jack customer you are trying to reach has not yet been activated". Don't bother to answer unless you want to screw with them and blast them. SCAM.
