The same thing has happened to me several times by different 'dea officers'. I knew it was a scam but loved the post from the guy that called him back with farting noises, etc. This should be stopped. It's too bad that the # can even show up as one from the states since I'm assuming their sleazy operation is offshore. It's extortion pure and simple.
Calls from a person who poses as a DEA officer and threatens that you will be arrested, booked and extradited to the Dominican Republic for a trial OR paying a fine would dismiss the case.
Just got a call from someone from this number who is posing as a doctor. He says he has been trying to get a hold of me for some time and needs to talk to me. Very bizarre!
i got a call from this [***] and he claims to be a DEA agent name mike taylor and would search my home and have me arrested , when i returned his call to let him know that I had no reason to fear such a thing and that i knew this isnt DEA proper precedure, he must have forgotten that he said his name was mike and said his name was mark on the voicemail, scumbags like this need to be held down and beaten. i have spent every minute in the last 4 hours leaving him voicemails with, fart sounds, flushing toilets, bad bird calls, bass guitar playing, apologies for my bad singing, and on and on and on, i cant wait to call tomorrow and leave more messages, he called the wrong person because i am lonely and bored and need a friend,so i will just keep calling and calling to drive him crazy. lmao sincerely mr. going to call again
A special agent Timms from the D.E.A. left me a messag. He said he was from the Drug Enforcement Applacations, nice one. He also said that he had a warrent for my arrest and a search warrent for my property. I did not call back, reported to the police. The F.B.I. have a web site www.ic3.gov to report things like this. I recommend useing this like I did.
