New Report

Two calls today from these crooks. The first call this morning had some guy say he was from the IRS, but that's all he said. Hung up on the fool. Then minutes ago, another call from this number came to me, but it was blocked by my online call-blocking service. That means that in just a few hours, the number had been blacklisted by my call-blocking service, even before I myself had had a chance to report them. Clearly calls from this number are bogus.
Got 2 calls so far, both went to voicemail the second stating "Hi this message is intended to contact you. My name is Steve Modern and I'm calling regarding an enforcement actions executed by the US Treasury attending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to award initial appearance before a magistrate judge or grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 415-795-7501. I repeat 415-795-7501. I invite you to cooperate with others and helpers to help you. Thank you."
I would help if a government legal representative could actually use correct grammar and make sense. They also need to get better phones, it was a very bad recording.
This number will be added to my blocked list.
800notes, please add a Scam option for the Call Type drop down list.
I received a call from the same number stating the exact same thing. I have now blocked the number after reading these comments. I like how it states you will be called in front of a Magistrate if you don't cooperate, how bogus.
