This is officer Heather Gray, it I very important that you call back this number. My number is 415 795 7667. This message is confidential. This is a SCAM!
Spam calls. Said IRS a d call immediately or have attorney call. When tried to call just for fun. Says call can't complete at this time to try later lol lol lol .do they really think ppl are this stupid. IRS never calls you, they use USPS only
When I answered, there was a recorded message claiming to be from the IRS, (I knew it was a scam instantly, as the IRS doesn't make contact by telephone, they use the US Postal Service exclusively, unless you call them) but I listened to the spiel and the recording stated that I, or my attorney, needed to contact a Heather Gray (another giveaway--it's always Mrs./Mr./Ms. Gray, when in communication with the real IRS) that it was very important/urgent that I do so.
. "Just today, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued another warning about scams targeting taxpayers.
Specifically, the IRS is reporting an increase in “robo-calls” where scammers leave urgent callback requests telling taxpayers to call back to settle their “tax bill.” These fake calls, which often sound threatening, claim to be the last warning before legal action is taken.
If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be with the IRS, and you owe tax or think you may owe tax, do not give out any information. Call the IRS back at 1.800.829.1040 to find out more information."
