Chelsea said she was from Home Protection & wanted me to install a "GE Wireless" system in my home at no charge to me as long as I agree to place a sign in my front yard. I am on the national and state Do Not Call registry. I received a call two days earlier from a woman whose name was Chelsea (same voice) from the phone number 213-788-7627. That time I asked her to not call me anymore. One week before that I had a call from a man at the 213-788-7627 number who said he was from "First Alert" and asked me if I was interested in having a security system in my home at no charge as long as I put a sign in my yard. I contacted First Alert & the Customer Service rep told me that it was a scam although he didn't elaborate on what the scam was.

Please file a complaint on the above link. It takes less than 5 minutes. I have filed a dozen complaints in the past week//everytime they call and every number. If more people used the time it takes to [***] about the call on these boards to file a complaint with the FTC, MAYBE, these scam artists can be prosecuted, fined and shut down once and forever
