Received three missed calls in 1 hour, no message left. It was the SF Ballet calling regarding a fundraising drive. When call was returned they apologized for the three calls and mentioned it should have been just one call.
I got a call from this number at 5:11 p.m. Earlier today, while at work, I was online working and since we use Google search at my job, an ad for the San Francisco Ballet popped up. Being that I'm a fan and recently attended The Nutcracker, I clicked on the ad, curious as to which performances they had coming up. I left the ad window open while I continued working. And then, this evening, at 5:11 and again, just now at 5:13, they called. I didn't know it was the SF Ballet until the anonymous poster from May 15, 2015 said it was them. But it's kind of creepy that on the same day that I clicked on their ad, they're calling my cell phone. They have my email and phone number from when I purchased tickets. It's a shady practice that reflects poorly on the non-profit arts organization and I'm a bit annoyed that they're resorting to this. If you don't care to support the ballet, then don't answer. If you do, then simply buy tickets and attend their performances like I do. I see no reason to -- nor can I afford to -- support them in any other way.
