Called me at work and didn't identify themselves, so I asked who they were and couldn't understand her response. Caller was very difficult to hear and understand as she had a very thick accent. She said I had been selected to receive something, but I couldn't understand what. She wanted me to verify some information - name, address -- but I told her I wasn't interested and hung up.
Man on the other end identified himself as Chris with White Paper International. He wanted to talk to any IT person as he had a free white paper he wanted to send. Sent his call to a phone that is no longer used. Been down this street before.

Most of them are [***] and hang up on you when you question what their purpose is. i answered the second call from the guy (same number) with the persons name he was looking for and asked him to take me off his list. he said OK, but we will see if number is really removed.
