Had a missed call from this # the caller id said Corte Madera, CA. Did a reverse phone look up on it and it said the carrier was Google Voice. Didn't call it back.

We are in NY state and we have Do not call--but still receive calls from this number.

For a scammer the Do Not Call law is one more law to break.

Got a missed call, returned the call, the person had an Indian accent he said it was from the IRS that I needed to pay half of what I owed and I only had an hour if not he was going to take legal action againt me, I could pay with debit or credit card.
I asked some questions that he was not able to answer and I just hung up. called IRS 800 number they never request immediate payment. And never request payment with credit or debit card.
