Called, hung up. I returned the call and got some message about having visited a reward partner site that earned me a free gift card. I followed along the option menu to get more information, but the connection was poor on their end and the person on the other line wasn't providing details. Her English was heavily accented. I hung up after the third time I was asked to repeat myself.
Called my number and hung up on second ring. I did not call back as I did not want charges for a number I do not know. After reading the post above I will not answer any calls from this number. I also know for a fact I do not give my number out unless it is really a business or person I want calling me.
I have received calls twice in the past 3 days from this number. Both times it rang twice and then hung up....similar to what others have stated. I have not returned the call and based on the above, I won't.
I don't understand the point of letting it ring twice and hanging up....are they hoping that the people will then call them back and that way they won't be "in trouble" for calling a number on the national "do not call list"? SMH...
