I just received a call from this group. They are apparently soliciting for a fundraiser for a group they identified as Veterans Support Foundation (or was it Group?). Anyway, at first I thought I had a live person on the phone, but then it began to sound more and more like a recording with words to the effect, "We are conducting our annual fundraiser...the time we send out packages." I ended up telling the person/recording that I was hanging up. I don't know if they were legit or not. A search through Bing came up with a group named Veterans Support Foundation, but I didn't research how they do their fundraising. Personally, I prefer to initiate donations to organizations myself and not respond to phone calls or solicitations received through the mail. It's a matter of safety and wisdom.
