they just called me 3 times back to back without even a minute in between calls and i didnt answer any of them and now they just left me a voicemaiil. im so tired of these other country people calling me for some BS story crap. find somebody else to bug and get a life!!! stop harrassing us innocent people for cryin out loud
I recived a call from some guy supposedly in New York, but with a thick heavy middle eastern accent. He said that my computer software was having some serious problems and that he would guide me as to how it can get fixed. BS! The phone number was from 415-994-0000.
I received 3 calls from this number in one day. I answered the third call and it was an Indian sounding man telling me I won government grant money. When he finished speaking I politely told him I wasn't interested and to please take me off his calling list. He responded that he was going to distribute my number to every calling list he can find and tell them all to call me nonstop. I told him that I would like to speak to his manager and he said his manager was busy but would like to keep talking to me because he was looking for a wife! I told him that he was disgusting and offensive and I would like to talk to his manager (as I thought maybe it was still legit but that he was rudely joking) and he told me again that he was going to tell everyone he knows to call me and that he was going to sell my phone number. He kept going with profanities and disgusting remarks. That was truly upsetting. Now that I see many other people have had bad (maybe not quite as offensive) experiences from this same number. Why can't something be done about this? Is there no way to protect our phone numbers from people like this?
Said my "loan" was approved for $15,000 -- I made no such loan request... I kept asking him to repeat but his accent was hard to hear. Maybe he was saying a "car loan"?? I still don't know what this was about. The background was noisy like calling from a coffee shop or call center. I asked him to repeat the person who he was calling. He had my first and last name correct and my phone number, but again I asked details about this loan... Eventually he gave up with my questions and he HUNG UP on me.
A few minutes after I posted this comment I received another call from a phone number 1-016-93, that's weird because it does not seem to even be a complete phone number. so it may not be a coincidence? But if these guys read this site and noticed my post, just know that my fraud prevention service has been alearted; they are watching.
