someone from this number keeps calling and then asking for Jelina. When I tell them there is no one here by that name he/she will then insist on me confirming the number they just called. I have asked them three times to take me off of their calling list but they have not to date.
Got another call from this number. Man asked to speak with Martha in Accounting at the Academy of Art. I told him he was calling a law firm and that my number often receives calls for the Academy of Art so to find their current number on the website. He was pleasant enough.
Call from a man with a slight extension of his vowels, that made him sound like a used car salesman, if you know what I mean. Very "that'd be greeeaaat thannks" like in the movie "Office Space". He gave the name of someone who has never worked for us "in marketing". When I couldn't find the contact, he mentioned marketing, so I asked what the call was regarding since we don't have a general umbrella marketing contact. He then asked my location, and I told him that the general DA line is in a few places but our directories search a database that includes all office locations (because computers, c'mon dude). He then mentioned mailing something to marketing, so I offered to send him to shipping. He was gun-shy of that. Said he'd "get someone else on the case" and hung up. I'm suspicious.
Male caller cited a contact who no longer works for the company, and asked to speak to a "sales manager" Said he wanted to send an email with information. Claimed to be from "Advice Brands" but this phone number does not appear on Advice Brands webpage. I've reached out to Advice Brands to confirm if the number belongs to one of their employees.
