Just called me again too... several times now. I'm with Telus.
I want to know where these scammers get these numbers from? Who's selling our numbers to companies like this???
Dont call back the number, someone told me they heard that they charge you long distances charges of like thousands of dollars or something if you do, thats the whole point of them calling to try and SCAM you.
haha... warranties out of Compton?!
I asked the woman the name of the company, she said they were called "warranty services". I asked her if it was a scam and she countered that they were simply a company offering warranties. "No you're not. You're trying to frighten people!" She laughed and asked if there was anyone in my home who owned a car.
When i asked where they were based; in the states or Canada, she told me she'd take me off the list and hung up on me.
complaining to the FCC hasn't seemed to work in getting rid of these folks, or getting them to change their tactic. What to do..
I get home every day and get a WhoCalled text message saying I have 2 new voicemails. I check the messages and I get the hang up. Just today I hit the call back button and it gave me this number, and I have to say, Google is my friend. Anyone know how to stop it yet? Its starting to p**s me off.
