Same as above listed, it's a "car warranty expiry" scam. Makes me sad that it's a 416 area code. Normally I can spot them easily by their California area code.
Just got a call on the cell from 416-000-7954. Does this have any connection to providing my cell number to Facebook to get the text message code for setting up a new app?
Has anyone else recently set up something on Facebook?
I also got this call on my Telus phone. I have not given my number out to anyone except one or two immediate family. I was too late to take the call but I figured that it was a scam from the number. My daughter-in-law has also received these calls on her cell-phone.
I got a call from this number today and right after I updated my Facebook app on my iPhone.
