Called offering a free phone from Bell or a company associated with Bell. I couldn't make it out from his accent. It was something about a black phone (I think it was the one by Motorola) that you could turn sideways and cost $329 normally, but I would get it free with a contract or something. He skipped right to asking about my personal information. When I informed him I would not like to have a phone, he asked why (as usual). After giving irrefutable reasoning, he then asked if my friends would like a free phone and wanted their contact information. I told them they are probably all on his call list and that I couldn't think of any friends who don't already have a cell phone. My guess is that it was a legit call but without any kind of verification or comprehension of what the guy was saying, it just seemed a bit odd for them.
