as soon as i seen the number, i new it was a scammer calling. bestthing to do is to ignore the numbers you don't know. they do not leave mrssages, do not call back cause by doing so you are telling the scammers your number is active. then they turn round and sell your number to other scammers again and again,
There is no name in the caller ID. The call was transferred to my answering machine; no message was left. When I search for this number online, there are only websites that complain about scams.
The number is most likely spoofed; I live in the GTA; we are still being targeted by "Air Duct Cleaning Services"; I suspect it is them. I will leave this number blocked.

With regards to call blocking, I still use it because it gets rid of the call ASAP without dealing with them directly. I tried ignoring unknown callers, but it had no effect. The autodialer doesn't get tired. They want it to call as many numbers as possible. I don't care if they know my number is active; they're not getting through my call filter.
soon as i seen the number on the display i knew it was a scam and ignored the call and blocked it later, another thing they do is to use a number looking like it in you area to fool you, tricking you into picking up the phone, once that is done they then know it is a active number, best thing to do is not answer call you do not know, messages can always be left if inportant.
