they called to see if we needed a web site and i told them we have a web site and he said do you need any updates done to the site and i said no i'm the person wo made the website for the company and he said "ok your web designer HA HA HA" these people harrass us almost every day

I get a call every day from them and I have repeatedly asked them not to call me. They said that since its a "business to business" call then they can continue to call me. I asked to be taken off their list and the guy told me they dont even use a list, they just go through the yellow pages and call all the businesses.
I don't feel threatened by them... I feel harrassed by them.
I called the woman back and she actually argued with me about not taking me off their list. She claims they are allowed to keep calling the same business over and over again because they dont use a list of numbers - they simply open the yellow pages and start calling all the businesses... therefore, she cannot take me off her list. I contacted the CRTC and they told me that it was totally illegal to do that. Every company who makes calls like that HAS to have an internal list of some sort.
If enough reports are filed with the CRTC they can be shut down. Please report them.
Acted like a client and then asked for Website address. 20th call this week people trying to sell me a website I've had for years. These sales calls are so annoying.
They called my home and "Gus" went into his talk about my website and I told them it was run by the company I represent. He said I should have my own and then link it to the company because people look for the person not the company. He told me it would cost $50 per month. When I told him I was just starting out and couldn't afford $50 per month on an extra website, he got defensive saying I had enough money to put out to join the company I should have enough for their website. I got him off the phone by telling him he could call back in July and I would save up for it.
