Toronto On - The person called my housing asking for me, when told I wasn't there they said "It's personal, Is she able to receive calls?" and then hung up.
I tried to call the number back but it's not in service.
Careful with numbers like this.
If you can screen the call you should.
There are fraudulent companies out there, that set up routing numbers.
The routing number will call you, and if you pick up the phone and stay on long enough, they will try and direct a long distance call through your carrier.
You should inspect your telephone bill carefully, to ensure that you don't have any unexpected long distance charges.
Had two calls today, Saturday, both "dead air". Probably a bogus CID because when I try to call the number I get a "not in service" message which sounds like a genuine Bell Canada one.
This number calls my cell phone often, the last time being yesterday at 6:00 pm. I seem to always "miss the call" and when I return the call, of course, I get that the number is not in service. They never leave a message.
