The reason your fax is geting the weird message "The Party has chosen not to take calls from you at this time", is because Wayne Gould blocked your fax number using Bell smart features. Unlike their service your caller ID is visible. This was forseen in the message posted by SOLUTION. We need more people with more faxes, such that we exceed Wayne's blocking budget (it costs money to block a number). If you have more thaan one phone line use the other line and it should work. I hope this helps. It is a good cause. I also have a lawyer on the case.
Good to know ten, I've got 5 different lines here and I tried calling from a different line, it says the same thing. As for 416-201-4209, I'm working on that one now. Hehe...maybe I shouldn't be saying so much on here, it could come back and bite me in the [***].

If you get that answer on all five lines, this means that all lines go out as the same number or ANI (Automatic Number Identification). This is common if there is a PBX (Private Branch Exchange). It is fairly easy to verify with a call display unit or a commercial voice mail that provides the caller id. Sorry if I am too detailed. I don't like using acronyms without knowing the person. Wayne will eventually unblock your number when he runs out of money. As regards being discreet, I personally have no concern since all we are doing is what CRTC, Bell, BBB, and CMA should do. The legislation will kick-in September 2008 (or so we hope), and then Peerless Mason could be taken to court.
We do have a number which all our long distance calls go through no matter which line you use, but because it's local I'm dialing direct from that number and not going through the long distance line, 5 of our lines are roll-over lines and have their own specific phone numbers my fax line is not part of the roll-over system so if I dialed directly out of 555-555-5555 wouldn't it show up as that number on their end? You're probably right, obviously you know what you're talking about. Either way, we'll keep scratching away at him.
