Calling re: credit card account - says there's no problem but I should call IMMEDIATELY to discuss the possibility of lowering my rates. I'm on the National Do Not Call List - how do I report these people?

I just do NOT answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.
If its important - they'll leave a message.

I'd rather hang up on someone calling me - than hand over my hard earned cash to some
joker on the street with his/her hand out.

Got a call from these criminals today - prison time for these sorts of perps is not the answer - summary execution is the answer.
Anyway I think the caller ID of 416-333-4444 is spoofed anyway. Hung up - called back and got rings followed by a techno-noise indicating the # doesn't work for inbound calls.
Now that devices like the "Magic Jack" are available, these scammers can do hit and runs with automated calls from their computers. They just keep buying and using new #s.
Don't worry - the way karma works - time wounds all heels - tese scammers will get theirs, if not in this life, then in the next ;-)
I just got a call from these perps ... Too bad it was a machine I would have really blasted them, like I have the last 999 telemarketers that have called me since I joined the Do not call list...
Execution is too good for this company ... unless we tar and feather them first, cover them with honey and let 10,000,000 ants snack on them first ..
