Why is it that these creeps can call me but I can't call them back? Here is a duct cleaning service using local number and when I called back got message...the number you dialed is not in service. Really? Then how does a number that is not in service dial my number? Bell should really be responsible for these numbers.
It's a pattern of calls that I received. Every few months, it start with number of survey calls from different companies, then the next wave will be air duct cleaner, home alarm system or windows & doors. Final stage will be a collection agency's phone call....asking someone that I don't even know or met. I myself have not debt, no late payment. I just don't know why I become a popular person or phone number for these agency to call me and I don't know where they got my number. If they use their brain to think....if someone run away form their debt, will they tell anyone( especially to a total stranger) where they are going to hide??
I think all these air duct, home alarm or windows & doors are the foot soldier working for a collection agency. First, who would spoof a number just to call a handful of people, not even reach a page of complaints.
Second, caller with heavy Indian accent and were very rude.
I think that's a give away.

I've been getting phone calls from this number every day for the past 2 weeks now. Usually I don't answer the phone, my mom does, and it always leaves her visibly shaken. Today I answered, and as soon as I realized that it was the same people, I started recording the call. They swore at me a total of 7 times within a 3 minute conversation. I've called Toronto Police Communications, and they are on their way to listen to the recording and put a trace on the calls to determine where they are coming from and who's making them. I may not know the law to it's full extent, but I do work for lawyers. I have every intention of pressing charges, and then will civilly sue them for pain and suffering due to their harassment.Not to mention my loss of wages due to taking the day off work now to wait for the police to start this investigation. Calling me like this is one thing. Swearing at me like what he did is taking it too far. It's time to end this once and for all.
