They called me 5 times, very annoying, dead silence... I called back and a girl answer me, she said the company name so fast I became suspicious. I asked her to repeat the company name again she said it so fast that it is not comprehendable... She said that my doctor asked them to call me on his behalf. I do not believe this, sounds like a scam... Patient info is confidential.... I asked them not to call back, they keep calling back... Blocked their number. Telemarketers should jump off of a brige as soon as possible...
I saw several calls had arrived over the past couple of days. Picked up the call today and it was a telemarketer who spoke so fast that I could not understand her....just something about a doctor whose name I did not catch. I reported the call to the do not call web site as listed in the earlier posting.
The same number kept calling me and I contacted Healthscreen to have the phone numbers removed from their calling list. "Tanya" of Healthscreen took down the phone numbers and assured me that the removal would become effective in 48hrs.

Registering with the Do Not Call people won't work in this case, because your Doctor has sold your information to this company, and so they are calling you as a service that you have agreed to subscribe to.
Definitely need to report this to the CRTC tho', and most definitely, you need to admonish your doctor for bowing to the pressures of the almighty dollar - over allowing patients to enjoy the sanctity of their private homes as a way to ward off illness, without the stress of telemarketers calling!
