I got a call from 416-360-8879, they asked me questions about my computer and I replied to them in another language. Needless to say, it was a quck and funny conversation. Next time they call I will sing my replies in another language.
A woman called, broken English, [***] or Hindu accent. With a serious tone in her voice was trying to convince me that my computer is affected by malicious virus and that she calls from some "Windows Operating System Center" or smth like that to help me! I thanked her "gratuitously" and hanged up. Than I entered the # into my Blocked list.
I just had the same phone call from Windows Security. The call cam from 416.360.8879. I had a call come through on another line and said had to take it. They called back in 5 minutes and the call display read "Unavailable Name & no". I blocked the first number but have idea of the identity f the call back number.
She said ' Because you are active user of either VISA/ MASTER and AE' wired!
However, I wonder why they would have my full address , name and phone number? I guess this personal info is for sale...
