My wife answered and in a thick Indian accent "David" told her that our phone number had been selected to receive free long distance minutes as well as a $25 calling card for free. He wouldn't listen to her saying that we don't want to participate so I took the phone, and said "David, David can you hear me?" "Yes" he said. "David, we don't want any of that stuff". He resumed his sales pitch and I said "David, David, can you hear me?". He swore and hung up.
I would like to shove his little headset up his a$$ and ask him if he can hear me now!
Person called in very heavy, presumably east indian, accent and said I was having internet problems I was not aware of and started to give me some instructions on action to take. I could not understand him
due to his broken english and hung up.
Got a call who said he was investigating an internet problem. He said he was from microsoft and to turn on my computer. I could hardly understand him because of his east Indian Accent and told him so. I then hung up.
I received this call 3 times today all telling me about some TD banking offer. It's a 416 number but the gentleman said he was in Halifax. Neat trick!!
