I've received two calls from the number now - one on 11/10/07 and one on 11/6/07. I didn't answer either time because I didn't know the number, and the caller didn't leave a message. Weird.

This is a possibility. I just went to Pearle Vision in Dearborn Heights, Michigan for an appointment on 12-07-07. This phone number came in on my cell phone today at 3:04pm and no message was left. There have been numerous incoming calls from this number with no messages, and they always disconnect when answered. Each time I call back, there is an incoherent recorded message on the other end.
