A man from this company called and said I need to call him back about my alpacas. He made it sound like they were interested in them. However, in looking on the internet, it looks like it's a sales call.
Got a call yesterday from some Mark about our Kiko's I called back and left a message.Got a call this morning at 6:30 didn't answer because we didn't regognize the number. They are trolling the animal and agricultural sites looking for names and numbers. SCAMMING!!!!!! Don't answer.
This idiot calls at 530am and wanted to talk to my husband. Told him he was asleep . Asked him what it was about... he said the jerseys.which we have. Would not talk to me. Left a 800-373-6299 and an ext number to call him back when husband got up. Looked the number up on the interent to find out it is some promotional business.. Now calling at 530am is BS! and we are on the Do Not Call list..yah.. I see it really works these days.
I got the same call as Darren - called my office, asking for my boss by name. Didn't really trust the company name that came up on caller ID (Maxx Global), so I wouldn't put the call through until he could tell me what it was about. Said he had spoken to my boss earlier in the year regarding an "amazing opportunity", and one had just come up. When I kept asking what the opportunity/promotion was about, all he would give me was the line that it was a promotion with Maxx Global, in conjunction with the Children's Wish Foundation and they do engraving etc etc etc.
Guy finally hung up, hope he doesn't call back.
Some low life scumbag with a heavy east european accent trying to peddle office junk. The phone displayed Maxx Global Concepts and located their website below:
