I have received unsolicited calls from 416-493-7703 and request that they stop. I'm physically disabled and reaching the phone is an ordeal. When it is someone that doesn't say anything it is really annoying. I wish there were laws forbidding these types of calls.
This number has called every night at the same time for a week. No noise on the other end, just nothing. If I try to call back, it only rings half the time and never an answer. GRRRRRR~
called at 635 pm calls every other day around same time for the past few weeks, no one there, call back results in ringing and no answer 50% of time, or no ring at all the other 50%. How can we find out who this is?
We've been getting calls every night from this number. I used to work for a telemarketing company way back. They use a device called a Predictive Dialer (actually a computer) that dials numbers continuously and listens for the click when you answer. If you don't answer, your number goes back into the database and it keeps calling. When you answer and there are not enough salespeople working, you get just dead air.
There's software and hardware out there that 'zaps' the database by playing the "this number is not in service" sound when they call. We haven't bought it yet!!
