For 6 months this number has called at least one time a day, sometimes up to 8 times. I have asked to be taken off their list as we do not accept credit cards but they refuse. Just now the woman who called said "talk to you tomorrow". I do not know how to get rid of this number but their behavior is disgusting and very un-Canadian.
Fast talking Ontario telemarketers called my British Columbia based business regarding accepting credit cards. They didn't state who they were working for. They asked me very private questions about my business (do you make $5,000 a month? Can we see your bank statement? Are you with Moneris?) & then booked an appointment to see me. One caller transferred me to another, who asked me the same questions again. When I said I wasn't comfortable talking about my numbers, they kept talking. When I called the number back, I got "this phone number does not accept incoming calls.". Very fishy. I'll be kicking them out of my shop if they show up.
