Same BS as noted above. The real problem is the complete lack of governance of the CRTC with respect to telephone harassment. Having a private number does no good since these are automated systems that send out mass texts to all possible number combinations. As usual, citizens are forced to take a reactive approach which inevitably ends in inordinate amounts of wasted time since our socalled watchdogs can do nothing to avail the problem. In Canada, the right to freedom from harassment and respect for citizens privacy comes a distant second to the right to free enterprise.
