I actually answered a call 2/14/08 from 416-597-4703 then I googled it and found your comment. He said he was looking for my VP and wanted to invite him to a "Customer Complaints Management Conference" and wanted my VPs email. I didn't give it to him. His name was Kevin and he said he is with IQPC. Which is what I don't know, would not give me an url. Wanted the VP. I did give him a secondary email i have "just for this sort" of call.
Hmmm, guess I will find out when I get the email. Also when I gave him the email addy he asked if it was my last name, so i gather he will try to send something directly to VP.
IQPC is a legitimate organization -- International Quality and Productivity Center. They put on conferences. My company deals with them for the Call Center Week show in Vegas.
Here's the show that he was calling about: http://www.iqpcevents.com/ShowEvent.aspx?id=57628&details=79190
They're annoying -- especially in the days leading up to a show -- but still legit.
