Claimed to be calling for the "Immigration Department of the government". They asked for someone who wasn't home, and then proceeded to push for information about who I was and claimed that I had not filled out "form BC22", and implied that they had police about to visit me for failing to fill it out (it could have made for an amusing visit, considering that I am not an immigrant.)

Anyone who receives such a call: notice that in Canada, the immigration department is not called "the immigration department".

The phone number is associated with Canadian Immigration International http://www.immig.ca/en/ which has a fraud advisory warning up saying that their phone number is being spoofed.
