Be careful of these guys. Say they are from Eco Home services and imply they know all about Alberta's project for improving energy efficiency. They are NOT related with the govt program. Got 2 calls today from this number, 12:34 and 3:50. I wasn't home but no voicemail left.
Noticed previous poster said it showed Home Services? I got a call last night at suppertime from them(now I have to check that number from last night) they wanted me to book an appt for today to let someone in to check my furnace to see if I'd qualify for any rebates in a new one due to carbon taxing. He re-assured me guy would have a identification tag etc etc. Told him I wasn't interested and that energy people were banned in Alberta from going to doors. I then promptly hung up.
Just recieved 10 phone calls from them between 3:50 to 7:00. They said they spoke with my husband earlier on and that they needed my consent to come and check the furnace. I told them they were harassing us and to never call again or I would call the police.
Home Services — fed up with these Scammers. We have cordless phones so as soon as I get a live person at the other end I turn on 2 handsets and hold them so "ear end" of one is over the "mouth end" of the other — produces a really annoying feedback "Screech".
