I registered on a do not call list but this number calls me. If I do not pick up the phone it rings on and on.......! Very annoying.
Who is behind these annoying calls...what is his home phone number....
I'll phone him every half hour. But of course we'll never know because
he likes his privacy.
I answered and said hello...there was the typical pause and then the telemarketer said hello and I hung up. This is the 3rd time this number has phoned my home. The first two times I didn't answer.
*** - 5 calls in less than a week -- I called back, heard courteous recorded message from the Cdn Council of the Blind, and noted Customer Service number: 800-525-9418.
*** - That line offers a recorded message in which the final option is to dial/press "9" from your residential line in order to be put on the 'free do-not-call list. Next you're to push 1 if the number that is then given to you by recording is yours. Message courteous and clear throughout.
*** - Hope this system works to cut out the calls!
I also rec'd the 416-628-4533 no. Telemarketer - something about council for blind and raising money for laptop computers so blind children can go to regular schools. Did I want to donate $299 - no. Then asked if I would donate $100. Told the telemarketer that I was on the Do not call List. Reply was that they only call once a year. Feel like this is a scam call.
same as above. canadian council for the blind. asked for large donation, then asked for other denominations when i declined. i asked how they got my phone number and she said she did not know. from the system. that they are not a telemarketer and that they only phone once a year. i don't mind supporting a non-profit like this but do not like being bothered at home on the weekend.
