Similar to above. Am a doctor and likely targeted, got a call from Michael. I asked how he got my info and was very vague. He insisted on my personal number before the FedEx package could be sent, and when I declined to give it, he became even more persistent saying that FedEx could not ship unless another number was given. Ultimately I told him that if business pended my personal number we could stop here, and he hung up shortly thereafter. Huge red flags from the beginning and extremely pushy
Was Monique from "Golden West Wines" and wanted to offer our business owner a brochure on the "business package of wines." She said his name completely wrong and I also told her we aren't interested since this is a BUSINESS and we can't drink wine and work :)
"Lola" from Golden West Wines wanting to send me a package with an official sounding reference number. Sales call to a medical office. I guess they assume that because I am a doctor I have money to spend on wine. I'm going to refer them to managed care.
Called a work office number and left a message for me. Wanted to send a brochure of a business package regarding wines. This included an investment opportunity in reselling wines as a commodity.
