This individual has now called several times, asking for my roommate each time and refusing to identify the "law firm" from which she is calling. When told that messages from companies that refuse to identify themselves do NOT get passed along, she then threatens to harass my roommate at her place of employment. Still no information found on just where she's calling from; google's not much help.
This individual is calling from TCR - Total Credit Recovery. They are not calling from a law firm (just their legal department). They cited a lawyer's name that I wrote down and went through the Law Society of Upper Canada to investigate. The lawyer exists, but the contact number is different. When I called the law firm, they confirmed that the individual is not one of their employees, but could be an employee of on of their clients. Either way, the individual calling from 416-774-4206 is working for a collection company NOT a law firm.
